All students identified as Special Education at Edison
High School will receive WorkAbility Services as
identified by the IEP team.

Students are identified by the Case Manager to receive Vocational Services when they reach age of majority
(18 years old).   Younger students, 16/17, years old may be identified to receive the WorkAbility classroom component as
determined by the IEP.

SAC students are given a wide range of experiences to
determine what their level of interest and abilities
are for future placements.   A resume is developed
with the training history for each student.  When
students exit school services, they are connected
to Adult Programs services through a collaborative
process with the student, Regional Center of Orange
County, the Department of Rehabilitation, Case
Manager, Vocational Specialists and parent(s).

Special Day students are assisted with the college process and develop a portfolio to assit with the transition from HIgh School.

Vocational Specialists provide services for all EHS students identified with a disability, intellectually challenged students at FVHS and Valley Vista High School.

IF you need to contact the specialists e-mail or leave a message at EHS 962-1356 x4025.
